Vertical vacuum crystallisers for 4 Production Unit
NPO Passat has shipped another batch of process equipment for 4 PU for the project called "Reconstruction of process line B with replacement of solvent and elevator".
Two vertical vacuum crystallisers with a capacity of 40 m3 are made of corrosion-resistant steel. They are designed for the crystallisation of potassium chloride by cooling a hot concentrated solution. The vertical vacuum crystallisers underwent test assembly at the NPO Passat production site.
The height of the units is 9.8 metres, and the outer diameter of the unit body is 2.8 metres. The weight of each unit is 14 tonnes.
