NPO Passat will supply two ejector flotation machines to the Usolskiy Potash Plant*. They are designed for sylvin flotation. The ejector flotation units will be equipped with deaeration tanks, electric pump units, electrical equipment and automation system. The working volume of each flotation machine is 35 m3/ч. They will allow the customer to increase the quality of flotation concentrate after treatment up to 93-95% KCl in the froth product. The feed capacity will be from 480 up to 520 m3/ч/h.
Prior to this delivery of ejector flotation machines as part of the second phase of construction of a flotation plant with sludge dewatering technology, Passat NPO audited, adjusted and modernized pneumomechanical flotation machines supplied earlier by another manufacturer, and supplied equipment for ejector flotation machines already in operation at the Usolskiy Potash Processing Plant.
Ejector flotation machine manufactured by NPO Passat is a state-of-the-art high-performance technology. It allows to improve the investment efficiency of processing plants by increasing the technological efficiency in comparison with previously used mechanical flotation machines. This solution enables our customers to reduce the space required for flotation machines. For example, in the potash industry, one 20 m3 ejector machine replaces 8 mechanical flotation machines. In addition, NPO Passat customers, using ejector flotation machines, reduce the load and the required number of operating personnel, power consumption, operating costs for equipment maintenance.
NPO Passat offers a full cycle of implementation of ejector flotation technology, including R&D and testing of its own pilot ejector flotation installation at the existing production facilities to confirm the technological parameters, complete delivery of ejector flotation units with automation systems and implementation of guaranteed technological performance.
* EuroChem-Usolskiy Potash is an asset of EuroChem Group in the Perm region of the Russian Federation. EuroChem-Usolskiy Potash Plant was established to develop a potash base based on the resources of the Verkhnekamsk potash deposit. Once the plant is up and running and reaches full capacity, it will be able to produce up to 2.4 million tons of potash annually. Upon completion of the second phase of the project, total capacity will increase to more than 3.5 million tons per year.
